A Quilt Top for AQSG Auction

Hartfield Frame Quilt top, 2008
Pieced by Bobbi Finley, designed by Barbara Brackman

The American Quilt Study Group is conducting its
annual seminar this week in Indianapolis.

at a past seminar

Bobbi Finley and I aren't going but we have sent a quilt top we conspired to make in 2008. Each year a hard-working committee organizes an auction of quilts and quilt-related items to benefit AQSG. We always like to contribute even in the years we can't attend. (And you should too!)

Look for this top done in English-style colors from
my Hartfield collection for Moda.

I hate to miss it because there are so many shopping
opportunities as well as learning opportunities.

Every year there are quilt shows and tours of quilt collections
and  history papers and study sessions....

Next year in Tempe, Arizona,
September 14-18, 2016

Julie Silber and the Juliettes auctioning an antique
that Bobbi donated to the auction last year.

See some pictures of last year's auction in Milwaukee:

Hence the CheeseHeads

And start planning an auction donation for next year's Seminar. Reproduction mini masterpieces always sell well.
